In a timeline where text is machine-generated, I felt like writing something myself.

What are you doing? Why are you here?

Well, since you are here, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Victor. I write software as a trade and waste time as a hobby.

I never cared much about having a significant online presence; the internet felt noisy enough, and my voice would just add to the cacophony. I was more than content to be a lurker. I keep a LinkedIn profile for professional reasons, but, until now, that was about it.

But things are not the same as they used to be, even if the online world is noisier than ever.

I’ll likely share here some small projects I develop in my ever-dwindling spare time, or occasionally post some technical articles. Possibly write about things that spark my interest for one reason or another. The intended audience is me, so I can come back and cringe years later at the things I once wrote. You are nonetheless welcome to take a look.
